Job Description:
Business System Analysis and Design 35%:
Conduct comprehensive systems analysis (including CRM, scheduling, inventory, and PTO) to define business requirements and determine technical needs for modification or replacement. Design, document, and improve functional and technical specifications for system enhancements.
System Architecture and Integration Oversight 25%:
Coordinate and link systems by determining requirements for and integrating third party APIs (e.g., payment gateways). Test, maintain, and monitor the full-stack environment to ensure stability, data integrity, and security. Conduct periodic architectural reviews and performance audits to identify weaknesses and develop strategic remediation plans.
Internal Consultation, Training, and Knowledge Transfer 20%:
Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and administrative staff. Consult with management and internal users to assess computing needs, system efficiency, and ensure agreement on system principles. Develop, maintain, and update detailed documentation and train internal users on system programs and configurations.
Business Data Analysis and Reporting (20%):
Apply statistical analysis and data visualization methods to analyze business data (e.g., resource utilization, operational costs). Generate reports and analytical insights to define functional system changes and strategic decision making.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a closely related field, as well as specific job-related skills.
These skills include:
Proficiency in object-oriented programming (e.g., Java, Python) and knowledge of Operating Systems and Computer Organization.
Familiarity with client/server architectures, system integration, and development environment tools.
Strong analytical and statistical skills to interpret complex data and develop predictive statistical models, and generate business intelligence for system planning.
Proven ability to conduct business requirements analysis, perform structured systems analysis, and translate needs into functional/technical specifications.
Knowledge of the software testing lifecycle and automated testing frameworks.
Ability to present and explain system information and technical principles to the target audience.
Knowledge of computer networks and modern web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Position follows the employer’s standard business schedule, which includes a Tuesday through Saturday workweek. No telecommuting. No travel required. Salary: $83,200.00 - $85,000.00 per year
